Appreciate it !! What benefits would I get from having it closed all the time? I'm probly going to make room for forced induction and remove my heater core anyways so I'll probly just slap one of these valves that I already have

If you are going to remove the heater core why not plug the openings where the heater hoses originate on the engine. Putting a manual cutoff in the engine compartment keeps all the heat out of the cockpit and makes it much more comfortable to drive in the summer.
