TFS heads for cheap
My brother had his '79 Vette stolen from his a storage shed 
...
The only good news is that 3 weeks ago he pulled the engine/transmission out (L-48/tci 700R-4) to do some work, so apparently the thiefs just towed it away (idiots).
I spoke with him last night and he is thinking about either parting the engine out or selling it out hole, so he asked me to post this. I cannot guarantee which parts are for sale or if any of them really are yet, but I figure a heads up is better than nothing at all....
12,000 miles on rebuild
L-48 2 bolt block, bored .030 over
Lunati forged pistons
Lunati forged rods with ARP rod bolts
stock crank
Clevite bearings
Crane cam (no idea the specs, sorry)
Crane roller rockers
TFS Twisted Wedge heads, 2.02/1.60
Edelbrock TokkerII manifold
Holley 600 dp
Hartman (?) 1 5/8 headers
True 2 1/4 dual exhaust
TCI 700R4 with ratchet shifter
3000 stall...
Like I said he might part out or sell whole, not sure. He lives in Alabama. Best ever ran with combination was a 13 flat, but that was with wheelspin problems...
