HELP with smart strut installation
does anyone have a picture of a smart strut mounting bracket installed on an 80-82 corvette? the ones I got from van steel are different from the one thats on there and it looks like its going to hit the exhaust.
any help will be greatly appreciated

I have another question for the 80/82 guys with smart struts: how did you reattach the heat shield with the new brackets? did you keep it on there or just forget about it? is that even an option?
I would love some help with this if anyone has the knowledge. I'm pretty new to working on cars.
