If you are putting in the replacements available from the catalogs, you don't need to remove the body. If you are going to replace the pan up to the outside edge, you will need to remove the fiberglass rocker channel cover (it's riveted and bonded in place) to get at the welds that hold the floor pan to the rocker channel.
