Lay the shoes out on a bench and put the adjuster on the bottom as well as the bottom spring.
Wrap the shoes around the spindle and slide the pin through the hole. This is the pin that is already on when the assembly is built.
Put the spring and cup on that side.
Slide the pin on the other side through the hole and shoe and install that spring and cup.
Next, install the top spring.
Wrap the shoes around the spindle and slide the pin through the hole. This is the pin that is already on when the assembly is built.
