Thanks, Norval, what was there was very similar to what I came up with,...I was mystifying about that slot/tab/bolt to keep the hydroboost from rotating, I allready figgered it out by time this was all posted...I just clamped the hydro b rod in a vice and cut 3/8 24 threads on it with a die, and screwed on the old booster fork works like a charm....I will put some locktite on it,
my only concern is mounting that unit, I dunno what to secure the bolts to the inside of the firewall with, as I want studs facing out...to make furure service easy....what a PIA...had to tear out the entire dash assy for nothing....not that mine is hard or anyting due to being highly modded, course I can't even see that clevis pin with everything together anyway....

Gene you will find if you remove the 4 studs from the mounting plate they will press into the firewall. I just removed the studs, put them from the inside of the firewall facing out then using a larger nut and the original nuts pulled them into the firewall, they are splined and this spline fits the stock firewall holes for a press fit.
