Default 76 Steering Issues

I have the radiator out to be recored and the front suspension off being cleaned and powder coated. I have found a leak where the rubber gasket is at the Pitman arm that sits on the steering gear. I guess my question is how hard of a job it is to replace this and how much of this should be replaced? The pump appears to be OK, - Like some opinions on this. Thanks

If you're referring to the box bottom seal-over the pitman arm then you'll have to remove the box and disassemble and then set it up. If you're talking about the rubber boot on the control valve then you have to remove teh pitman arm at that point and buy a boot and clamp kit. If the pitman arm was removed with a pickle fork then the boot was ripped in the process.
If you decide to work on the box be sure you fully understand the adjustments before you start working on it. If you need help let me know. good luck
