Default Question on Stage 3 carbs...

How many horses does anyone think a Stage 3 Quadrajet by Jet performance push? I dont know

The carb won't be your limiting factor for any streetable engine. A Q-Jet, depending on model and type, flows from 750 to 850 cfm. A carb in this range will support anything you want to build. Keep in mind that the NASCAR boys are running 390s with restrictor plates, and putting out close to 700 horse at 8000 rpm. The Q-Jet flows twice the air they're allowed to breath...

Doesnt the stage 3 have no choke... Me personally am going with the stage 2 for my project most likely
