Anthony,
Your 7029207 is correct for your application, 1969 Corvette, 350hp, 350 with standard transmission and breaks down as follows:

70= Prefix code for all Rochesters built between 1965 & 1969.
2= Decade produced 2-1960's, 3-1960's w/A.I.R., 4-1970 to 1975, etc.
9= Year produced 1969.
2= Model Quadrajet 4BBL, federal standards.
0= Division Chevrolet.
7= Transmission, standard.

The 4 digit number is a Julian type date code. The first 3 digits are the actual day of the year the carb was manufactured. In your case the 157th day and the final digit is the year. The 7 doesn't seem to work here as it would be 1967 according to the number you've posted. Are you certain it's correct?
Best,
Greg

Thanks for the info Greg
I'll look at it tommorow but i am almost sure it said 1577. The other question I have is that the 1968-69 NCRS manual says that AC and auto carbs should have a (Anti-Diesel Fast Idle Solenoid) I have AC but No solenoid. It also says that early 69 cars may not. My car is an October build so i dont know if it should have it or not. I don't know if it is only for the 68. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Anthony,
Glad to help. I'm pretty certain your car would not
have had the solenoid if it was built in October. As you probably know the
year started in September so your car is a very early build and '69 was an
unusually long run of 15 months.
The final "7" in your "1577" didn't seem to work with the rest of the
numbers you posted for the carb. All else checked out OK on the numbers for
your application. Could be an anomaly. Please let me know what you find
after you re-check the number.
Best,
Greg
