Ohhhhhh Ma Ma!!!
I took my corvette out tonight to give her the bi-weekly run around the neighborhood. I don't drive it a whole lot just yet because I am still bringing it out of its 18 year hibernation. Well, I decided I was tired of just putting around the block here, so I took it out on a backroad and mashed the throttle. I was totally amazed, in fact so amazed I had to post about it! It runs like a scalded cat! It shifts quick and firm, chirps between 1st and 2nd, and accellerates very nicely! It stuck me into the seat even!
And they say that L-82's in 1979 only had 225 horsepower???
This whole hobby may be an expensive habit, but I think its worth every penny. Once again, I have a big grin :D permanently attached to my face!
