75 Rearend alignment
Just put the rear suspension under my 75 and was wondering if anyone knows how many spacers should be put in to get a close alignment. I will need to get it aligned at a shop but need to get it close enough to drive it with out hurting anything. I had to replace the frame because of major rust damage and there was hardly anything left of the spacers when I took the rear suspension out. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 75 Rearend alignment (slide)
I would eyeball it and put a tire on and let the car down to see if it is close. Then put the same amount of shims on the other side. That should get you to the shop. Make sure you get a set of stainless steel shims so you don't have rust problems and frozen trailing arms down the road.

When I rebuilt mine last spring, I put in equal amounts of shims on each side. Last month I brought mine into the shop to get aligned, it cost me $269. I rebuilt my front end also, now it drives perfect!!! My suggestion is to get it aligned ASAP so that you do not hurt anything!
