Synchro Gears

Anybody got an average price estimate on what it would cost to have the synchros re-done? BW T10. Thanks.

If you are getting the synchro's done why not do the whole rebuild, the kit is about $160 on line and I got a guy to do the rebuild for $200. I had to take it out and put it back in which wasn't too bad of a repair.

I agree get a kit from Paul and find a good local guy. I do them for about $400 labor so that $200 deal was good. Rebuilt 4 spds are going about $800-$900 the last I checked.

Those aren't bad prices. I hadn't considered doing the whole thing since the tranny only has 59000 on it and only the 4th gear synchro is going, but for those prices I may look into freshening the whole unit.
