Default AC Compressor
im wanting to replace my AC compressor for my 81 but its asking me if its switched or non-switch type..

how do you tell the difference? what am i looking for to tell the two apart?

Probably asking about the superheat switch. Look on the back face of the compressor. If there is a wire going to a "sending unit" that is a switched type, I believe Corvettes are.
