79 A/C Evaporator replace
Has anyone replaced an A/C evaporator on a '79, that would care to share any advice.
The threads had siezed and when trying to replace the hose, the fittings were damaged. Anyway, now I need to replace the evaporator.

The hard part is getting to the screw and nuts. 2 from interior firewall under carpet the rest are nuts around the fan (I think 2) the rest you can see or feel for. I could not find the came or close too putty so I caulked mine back together (call me bubba). Fortunately for me the motor is out and made it simple. Good time to change the heater hoses also. It's easy to mess those lines up, I thought I would never get the accumilator off. Good luck
