procomp ignition

there is a guy on ebay selling the distributor , coil, wires, and ignition control box for $300. any one have experiance with procomp ignitions?
it sure is alot cheaper than msd

Is that the stuff that looks like MSD that the Chinese copied ?

My HEI is made by procomp, works great.

the page says its a company out of australia. it comes with a three year warrantee.

this is just the ignition control box, but on the page it gives a phone # to order the entire kit.

The company may be based in Australia but I'm sure the product is made in China. A friend of mine bought their cheap HEI unit and it works perfectly (better than the original points setup). I've just bought their CDI unit and it works fine too except now I'm having trouble turning off the motor but that appears the be an issue on how my car is wired.

Go to the MSD website they tell you how to solve the problem when the motor won't shut off, looks like the Chinese even copied the defect in the curcuit, damn they're good
