1968 Ignition Switch Swap?

1968 Ignition Switch Swap?
I need to change out my in dash ignition switch. The former owner trashed the trim 
. For the life of Me I cannot figure out how to remove it! It is glued to the trim. Has anyone done this or recommend a solution?

Open up a paper clip and insert it in the hole in the face of the cylinder. With the key in the ignition, turn the cylinder to the left to the accessory position, continue pushing the paper clip in as you turn left. It will go just past accessory position. Pull the cylinder out of the switch. Now unscrew the bezel and the switch comes out.
