The parking brakes are mini drum brake shoes that are contained within the rear rotors. To adjust you have to place rear on jack stands, pull the rear wheels, place trans in neutral. You will see holes in the center section of the rear rotor assembly which serves as the drum for the parking brake. Rotate the rotors and look through the holes. When they are near the bottom of the rotation you should be able to see the adjusters that look just like regular old fashioned drum brake adjusters. Tighten them to tighten the parking brake. If you have a Haynes or other manual look there for a better descrption. If not, now is probably a good time to buy one.
I believe the adjuster will line up with the hole when the driver's side is at the 7-8 o-clock position and the passenger side at 3-4. What you're looking for is a ribbed wheel.
If you are looking for those damn thing to actually WORK . ...like hold the car on any significant incline, forgetaboutit....
as long as the handle seems tight enough for safety inspection, it's fine....
Ebrakes are an anachronism from the way past past anyway....use 1 gear or park when stopped, and turn wheels into curb on hills....
with all the continueing troubles with ebrakes on all sorts of vechicles, I don't know why they are there anymore...
now is they need repair, just email, and I can help you offline...
