Idler Arm
My steering wheel has about 2-3" of play in it and I have heard quite a few people talk about replacing the idler arm to fix that. Where can I find one and how much $$$?

A local parts store will have an idler arm or you can go through ecklers and Zips to get a "heavy duty" one.
About $50 for the HD units.

The idler arm is not the only part that can cause this condition. You need to inspect the complete steering system to determine the problem. Look at tie rods, idler arm, ball joints, and steering gear for play.
