I posted here a while ago about my troubles with ACC carpet fit in both foot wells of my car. Same wavy complaint on the passenger side and the drivers side did not go high enough to get to the grommets. I phoned down to ACC directly and Randy at ACC sent me up the two front pieces free of charge. The only problem is the colour of the heal pad is grey, not black, so I can't use it. Don't know why or how this happened. Although they tried to make it right, like someone said above, their quality control is just not there any more. I think I'll take a shot at someone else's products in the future. Good luck.

I bought my black carpet from Corvette America 14 years ago. I haven't taken it out of the box yet!! Maybe it will never form fit to the car now?

I bought my carpet from Gary Gruhala, Not a ACC unit. It was from a differant Maker, Fits Perfect. Very satisfied. I dont rememeber the maker, but Gary says it was the best on the market, Larry :yesnod:

Same nightmares here Pedro. I think we got the same ACC mold - must be for a Camaro or something. :smash: The fronts are too short, the back convert storage area about 3" too short too. ACC said they'd work with me if I go through the dealer I bought it from. Problem is, Carlisle is 2 weeks away and the short stuff is already installed in the front. :( They'll replace it, but with what? Another lousy piece with the carpet woven too thinly, and not like OEM? :( I'll just make do for now, learn my expensive lesson and send the stuff (back half originals) to Romeo to make up a correct set later on. ACC really is trying in my case. I just think that no matter how much they try it's not going to be up to my extremely nit-picky standards. Darn German perfectionist coming out I guess. :jester

It seems that ACC has made some good and bad batches... Many people happy with their products, and many faced the same nightmare I did. Anyway, next time I'll try something else...

For the record, I bought my carpet a little more than one year ago.

Ed: Thanks for the website. I think I'll order their catalog too.

Gary: 14 years? Wow! I guess now your carpet is molded to fit the box! :D
