Master cylinder pushrod question.

how deep is the hole in the back of a power master cylinder? Is the pushrod in the booster adjustable at all?

Approximately 1.6"

The pushrod is adjustable, but I don't know what the range of adjustment is off hand.

Is it the same as the manual masters for the early years?

How deep is the hole for the later years?

If not the same it is very close, I mistakenly had a manual master on my power system for about 7 years.

Not sure about the masters for later years, call VBP they can tell you.

Anyone else know the depth for later C3's? I am trying to see if the later boosters are compatible with my C5 master cylinder.

you can buy a new, not rebuild master for $50 or $75 bucks..why not go that route?

Because I already have a C5 master cylinder to go with my C5 rotors and calipers. The C5 master has a smaller bore (13/16") and builds more line pressure than a C3 master. This higher pressure is necessary for the smaller lighter C5 calipers to work properly.

I just want to know if I can use a C3 booster or if I should use the C5 booster and make it fit.
