Yes ... OS34510T is correct for your 77 ... it's for 75-85 ... it fits both DS (earlier) & PS (later) dipsticks ... That gasket is a good choice ... don't worry about the other dipstick flange/bumpout. First, make sure everything is super clean & extra straight ... follow the directions ... you'll be pleased. DO use the new longer bolts (included) because the new gasket is a good bit thicker than your old one.

I installed the same gasket, nothing but good things to say about it. It also came with some plastic pieces to hold it in place so you can get some bolts started. Best thing since sliced bread!

I just installed the same gasket.
One caution, I ended up snapping off one of the plastic pieces on mine and had to take the whole thing back off and remove the threaded plastic piece that was still in the block. PITA
Just lucky that the engine wasn't in the car or it could have been more PITA than it was.
The plastic snapups are for use when motor is NOT inverted and/or still in car ... absolutely no need to use the snapups if motor is on a stand & motor can be rotated on stand (inverted) ... ??? ... maybe motor was dangling from a hoist/cherrypicker?

The motor was on a stand, however it's a homemade one and will not rotate. So I was lying on the floor, looking up, installing the pan.

Me too. Worked very well. I even switched to synthetic oil after making the change with no leaks at all.
Just make sure that you torque it down properly (meaning not too tight). I didn't really like the tab sticking out for the driver's side dipstick either, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Also very important to remove all of the old gasket material. Mine was original and it had petrified. It was so brittle that it came off in chunks. No wonder it leaked.
