Default Heat/AC Vacuum

This is a subject everyone avoids. To finish the interior, I need to hook up the "Bubba" 'd heater/ac vacuum lines.
Does anyone have their guages out where you can draw me a diagram as to where these lines go?
The line to the heater hose valve is missing, there is one that goes to the fresh air. Thats all I have. Any help will be appreciated!

Just finished redoing mine....found this on the forum...it was a lot of help! By the way, I cut the "gang-plug" and installed each vacuum line individually. I found some small silver clamps just the right size at AutoZone....Good Luck!

I did this last year on my 76 using this kit from Dr Rebuild. If you buy the kit it comes with the little clamps. I do remember removing the donut connector that attaches the hoses and attaching each hose separately. That's the only way you can do it since the original hoses are moulded into the donut ring. Read the note: plug and seal ports 4 and 7 on valve A (AC, heat, vent, defrost) and port 2 on B which I think was the temperature control for hot and cold.

Dr. ReBuild has the correct hose kit for your PARTICULAR year car. The kit comes with a vacuum diagram SPECIFIC for your year car.

I've just bought my vacuum hose kit and got it in the mail yesterday. I had several leaks and decided to replace all at once.

Some of the hoses look bigger, are they supposed to be?

Do you have to remove the dash to install the hoses? If so, are there clear instructions on that procedure? If not, how do you?

Also, do you just connect the hoses to the console rotary and discard it? The package didn't come with one.

First time I've done this. Would appreciate any help.

Was the kit from Dr. Rebuild? The kits I've purchased from them in the past have had the correct size tubing, connectors, and color markings, and they came with a diagram specific for my year Corvette.

Thanks for the diagram! I think it helped more people than you think. Would a '76 be the same as and '80?
I put this on my adobe photoshop and enhanced the back light. It became even clearer.

Vacuum Hose configurations:

1968 - Unique to that year.
1969-71 are the same.
1971-early 75 are the same.
Late 1975 - 76 are the same.
1977-82 are the same.

You will save yourself some time and aggravation if you get the proper kit from Dr. ReBuild (includes the proper diagram).
