Saturday about noon time I was shark bit.
Trying to bolt the leaf spring back up to the trailing arm I had my jacks slip and got my finger caught between the spring end and a jack. Final result was 5 stitches and a minor break. We won't mention the pain. It was my fault but not because I did anything wrong as much as not moving that jack further out of the way. When I got back from the clinic I got the leaf spring bolted up with no problems. Despite my finger I was still able to finnish the rear susp rebuild.

I will have splint and stitches off Fri afternoon. Currently just waiting for the swelling to go down. After that be careful and do as I want within reason for a while. :blueangel:
It could have been worse because it could have been a serious break or even cut off.
In the mean time I was bit by a shark.
Be careful or you might end up an :blueangel: (more likely) or
I think we all have our share of "Corvette Wounds" I've been lucky so far and mine have been limited to minor scrapes, strains and burns.
Feel sorry for ya
Thankfully, your shark didn't bite your whole arm off like that poor kid over in Pensacola  I ALWAYS use a C-clamp when messing with that rear spring. Wonder if Chevy gives out Purple Hearts for all the scrapes, cuts and bruises from working on these rascals?
