Default Vacuum problem

Just got my 72 LT-1 back - had the front suspension rebuilt, carburetor base plate replaced (leaking) and new MSD distributor - now my headlights and wiper door won't work. When I pull the headlight switch the driver side pops up, the other doesn't budge.

Any ideas... the car runs great so the vacuum issue isn't affecting the engine... Do you think by replacing/repairing the carb & distr, we could have caused something else down the line in the vacuum system to fail...? I also think it must be something central to the system as it is affecting both the headlights and wiper door. Both worked fine prior to this work being done.

Ideas?

Dave

run down all the vacuume lines for the lites. Start up front, squirt a lil wd40 in the control valves, make sure all the hoses are hooked up

A hose might be disconnected. Run the car with the hood up and turn it off. Listen right away for a possible hissing sound of a disconnected hose - you've only got a couple of seconds. Either way, your engine will probably run even better when you find the leak...
