Easy Power?
Ok so my 82 is all stock, and we want to keep it that way mostly, but I am ordering two new K$Ns for it, hoping to get a little more power.. Is there anything else I can buy for more power without sacrificing the cars condition? Any little secrets for squeezing a little more power out of the L82? Ive just been on the forums a couple days, but it feels like home already! Thanks guys

Get Lars' distributor recurve kit and set the timing per his instructions. That should help a lot. Also, a good dual exhaust with free flow mufflers can help quite a bit. There's always 1.6 ratio rockers. I guess the real question is how much to you want to modiy the engine and what is your budget?

He has an 82 with the L83 crossfire engine, the recurve kit is for non computer controlled HEI distributors.

What I have done for my '82 that made the biggest change was to go with better flowing mufflers. Put a set of Magnaflows on it and it seems to pull a little better. Check out the Crossfire Forum, lots of good info on there.
