http://www.coyswheel.com/index2.html

I plan on putting a set of their "C-5" wheels on my car. They are very similar to a TT2, but they have just a smooth lip which I like a little better than the TT2's. I plan on finally pulling the trigger within the next month or so. Maybe even sooner. I think I just sold my Vortech blown Z71 Tahoe today. I am taking a beating on it because the market is so soft for those right now. Escpecially for ones that only get about 12 MPG. Anyway that should free up enough cash for me to finish up the paint and trim on my car and maybe I can buy my wheels as well.

Did you have any problems getting them balanced? Doesnt look like it can take a regular clip weight on it front or back, maybe the glue on's would work, I just dont like them cause alot of people do not put them on correctly and they come off. Any info would be great, getting some this week. Also, how much room between the wheel and the caliper?

I just noticed that the 17" and 18" Coys C-5 comes in 9.5" width I wonder if that would fit under a stock 76 rear fender???

My plans are to put the 18 x 9.5 in the rear with a 5 inch bs. I am trying to keep from using offset trailing arms. It should work out nicely, but I will have to ditch my factory sway bar.

You must use the stick on weights- no lip. I mounted 17's and plently of room around the caliper.

Just the thread I was looking for! As requested, C3 Pics!

I have the 18x8, 4'BS all around with 255x50 series tires. They just released the 18x9.5 with 5 or 5.5 BS. I would like a pair of the 9.5 in the rear. So if anyone is looking! I'd sell my rears for a reduced cost. That way I can order in a pair of the 9.5's. Anyone know which BS is correct with 18x9.5? Also, fit and funtion are great, very happy with the wheels.

I have a set of the Chrome C5s. I had them on my 82 but moved them onto my 79 because it looks better. Pics of them on the 82 are on my webpage, will be updating the pics once the weather gets better.
Mine or 17s and they are easy to clean. Like them alot.

Anyone have any pics of the polished ones on one? Or on anything to see the difference. Those definately look better than the TT2's IMHO.

By the way, these are polished not chrome. I thought the chrome was a bit blingy. But thats just me. Also, thanks for the compliments.

damn those look nice, I was also looking at the Intro Pentia's but the price of those C5 rims is very tempting. I like the 17 x8 front and 18 x 9.5 rear look. I was thinking of holding off to next year but I need new tires anyway. hmmm decisions eh! keep the Cragar S/S 15's or go bigger.
anyone know what backspacing is needed for a 72? would like to go with the widest rear tire possible but not have them sticking out past the fender.

The Coys look very good. They almost look like a copy of the Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's. Both are very nice wheels and I would dare say the Coys cost less.
