Before you drop a load of money on a new valve...ya might want to make sure the valve is busted...you may have a vacuum problem to that valve...OR...you may be able to lube the valve and put it back...requires a little investigation first before waving that credit card
I did check the vacuum.... It is working.
When I turn on the AC it does send vacuum to the valve.
I'll take a close look at the valve and see if theres any way to get it working
After you drain and put in new fuid and additive in the rear find a parking lot and do tight figure 8s for about 10 minutes this works it in to both side of the clutches.bin there done that.

Drained the rear, added the additive, about 3 minutes of figure 8's and no more chatter
Now..... since I have solved that problem (couldnt have done it with all your help) I have yet another problem that surfaced today just after the rear oil change..
I come home , fire up the Vette to go visit a friend and notice the idle has jumped from 750 to 1000.... seems to be running a little rough now......vacuum leak?
If it is vacuum, it has nothing to do with the valve I removed for the heater, that one is closed up tight
I swear .... I fix one thing and another problem surfaces
