Default T I Distributor?

I have a T I distributor in my 68. It's not correct but I can't figure what it was for! #111263 no vacuum advance

That was the best distributor Chevrolet listed...before MSD was in business. I believe they came with L-88 and ZL-1 crate motors and was also available "over the counter" with a list price (so I have been told) of $1600...It has ball bearings instead of bushings.

I wondered if that was an over the counter part. I thought the L88 was the only one without a vacuum advance but I couldn't find that part number anywhere. Thanks

the #263 never came on a car so it was ONLY available "over the counter". The Corvette L-88/ZL-1 distributor had an advance can, it just had no function.....there was no nipple for a vacuum hose.
