Been thinking about this for awhile...what do you think about a set of C5 tail lights on a 68. Maybe one of you computer graphic gurus could show what it might look like...I thought it would be kinda cool... I love that oval shape...I was planning on redoing the rear body to make it correct for sidepipes( no big ol holes for me :D :D )anyways figure while i'm there...
I think it would look pretty sharp but would take some time with the fiberglass work :yesnod: You probably already considered this but I think C3s look great with the bubble lenses too. This is the first thing I changed on every C3 I've had. The puny stock lights just aren't visible enough at night, especially if you get caught in bad weather, to keep people from running up your backside.
I think it would look great. I like the C5 tail lights as well. It would be quite a bit of fiberglass work, but nothing too difficult. If you had a C5 rear bumper you could cut out the "cans" where the lights go and glass them right in where your light used to be. That would make it a pretty simple installation. If you decide to go this route we would love to see progress reports and final install pics.

Post your pics and what you want to do at off-topicforum.com in the basterdization section and tell them what you want to do and they can photoshop whatever you want done (and I am sure, quite a few things you don't want done). Those guys are really good over there at hacking up pictures.
I have to disagree. I would not change a thing on your 68's body. The bumper sharks are the coolest looking Vettes ever made! I love my C5, but as soon as she is paid for, the hunt for a bumper shark will begin.
It's your car, so you should do what you want, but to me that classic style is just that - C l a s s i c S t y l e ! :chevy
