speedo cable?

speedo cable?
Is there 15 different lengths for a 72 350/auto speedo cable? I was trying to buy one local and I wasn't confused untill I asked for one at the parts house. My best guess is around 70". I haven't removed the old one yet, it did sorta work untill the masking tape Bubba had on it came off,thxs Terry

when i bought mine for the 73 they offered a two piece cable,thats all i seen was that one 2 piece cable,,one goes from the trans and ends around the area of the heat shield,and the second screws to the 1st and runs from the heat shiels to the speedo,,must make it that way in case you have cruise,,to screw in transducer ,,, which i dont have
