Doesn't anybody know about this?? I have a '68, owned it since 1976, always thought it was # matching except for the obvious Mods. I am doing a complete suspension upgrade and when I looked at the trailing arms I noticed the diagonal frame braces are in place ?? 1968's are not supposed to have these. Those '70's were wild times but I think I would have remembered welding these in.

look at the pic. The frame has the vin-sn stamped at the two locations indicated by the yellow arrows. These are the only two places I know of them being stamped. Hope it helps.

Those 2 indicated in the above picture are the only 2 I am aware
of ,and since they are on top of the frame rails they are a little hard
to access.

Thanks, I will try to get a look at the one in the rear, I'm not planning on a body-off.
