wipers without door?

wipers without door?
hey guys, been working on my wipers, i've read a lot of the threads dealing with the vacum system,relays,and the system in general. My question is if the wiper door has been removed, (a different hood),so is there anything in the wiper system that needs to be by-passed,or taken out for the wipers to work normal, and i use that word normal loosely.thanks for any help/info.Terry

I would think they would work normally. When you pop the door up with the vacuum switch (simulating removing it), the wipers work just like you would think. Turn them on...turn them off. Of course, you will have to plug any hoses that are disconnected.
