Help!

Does it feel like the door handle latch isn't doing anything (flops easily)?
if so the arm that it connects to may be stuck in the upward position.
Go play with the passenger side latch to see how it works before attempting anything.
You'll see a little tab on the back of the arm that connects to the rod which connects to the handle.
Spray a bunch of WD-40 on the latch in that area.
Then place a long screwdriver on the tab and give it a good thump with the palm of your hand.
If I've just confused you thoroughly, cool, but I'll go take some pictures to clear it up if I can.
