I bought a 'economy" vacumm operated brake bleeder from Mid-America. It came with some attachments and I haven't got a clue how to hook this to the fittings on my brakes to bleed them.
Does anyone have a picture of the correct one and how it's attached the brakes? These are zerk grease fittings and I was looking for a attachment like on a grease gun or something.
The book that came with this isn't very clear......
Connect the vinyl hoses per the instruction sheet. Connect longest hose to the out side of the cup. Add brake fluid to cup but do not fill it. Insert one of the black plastic nozzles into the end of the long hose (pointy nosed nozzles work best for me).
When you're ready to bleed the caliper, insert the pointy end of the nozzle into the end of the bleeder. Hold it there and ensure you get a good seal.
Squeeze handle to pump up vacuum, open the bleeder, and the tool will draw brake fluid and air from the caliper into the cup. Close the bleeder when vacuum reaches zero. Repeat until you're no longer getting air from the caliper.

after having done this on too many damn cars......... i don't use any of those adapters...i just take the "fish tank hose" and slip it right over the bleeder nipple....sometimes it will slip off but its the easiset way for me to do it. I have used the vacuum tool successfully on all of my cars except for the vette, for some reason the vettes caliper design seems to allow air to be sucked in from around the seal lip on the piston as opposed to sucking the fluid out. good luck and let us know how it works for you
