What is the best way to install and align the forward window waetherstrips. The ones that are installed bteween the windshield frame and the side glass. Currently the stainless trims that hold the rubber are removed and I need to install both and get them to line up with the door glass.
I did an entire weatherstrip kit on my CE and it wasn't too bad. Just make sure you put the pieces on in the right order!! They should align themselves pretty close. Mine did and only needed a small outward adjustment on passenger side. You can 'eyeball' it after installation and tell if it is lined up right.
hope this helps. :seeya
Also, got a great tip on here about using wooden popsicle sticks to "help" the weatherstrip behind the trim molding and tabs. It worked great!
