That cam is about 2-steps higher then the cam that I'm running in my '72 454 which is the Crane HMV-278-2A. I like my cam alot but it all depends on how you plan on driving your car.

I have a roller comp cam with about the same specs 236 244, 112 lope separation and .623 lift and I find the cam very mild for performance usage. It pulls around 15 inches vacuum at idle and quits pulling around 6500rpm.
