Looking for crate engine web sites 454 block
Ok.....where's the best place to get a crate engine based on the 454 block?
I haven't really started the hunt yet.

...or the ZZ454...
if you want to run a stock fuel pump off the front of the block. Only the 454HO (cast-iron heads and cheaper) or the ZZ454 have provisions on the block to use a stock mechanical fuel pump, so I have been told. For ~$5,000 the ZZ454 gets you the nice aluminum heads along with a roller cam - nice! You could even drop in a stroker kit and sell the stock rotating assembly on ebay.
