Dash Removal
I am doing an off the frame restoration on my '78. Just began disassembly Friday and now am at a stopping point. I need help finding out what is holding the dash in my car! Does anyone have any tips on removing the dash? I have everything I can think of/find unscrewed or unattached. I am sure I am missing something, but cannot figure out what it is. I don't want to ruin it if I don't have to. I have looked through both the assembly manual and the service manual to no avail. :crazy: Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the right and left sides of the dash, there are two "tabs" that at triangluar shaped. They can be pushed down to clear the windshield pillars. Can you move the dash up and down enough to know if the problem is a still attached screw, or something just hanging like I described?

Thanks for the help, I found out what it was. After posting I went back out to work for a bit and kept removing trim. My dumb self didn't realize that the trim piece running on each side of the dash was helping keep it wedged in it's current place. After removing those two pieces it came out without too much damage to the dash.
