NEURAL SAFETY SWITCH ?
Replacing the neutral safety switch on my '82, I assume the switch set up is the same for most sharks within this time frame, and have a question concerning the pin that connects what I call the paw from the switch to the shifter. I did not realize that a pin was used on these and can't find the original pin in the area under the shifter. The new switch did not have another pin with it. Anyone ever done this before? Will a watch band pin, cotter pin work? Thanks for the help.

Re: NEURAL SAFETY SWITCH ? (2TONE82)
I WISH I had a neural safety switch. Dont those keep you from saying those stupid things that you regret later? I could have used that a few times.
:D :D :D
(sorry, I couldn't resist either )

Re: NEURAL SAFETY SWITCH ? (2TONE82)
Bill,
I think that any pin will work as long as it is tight and will stay in place. My 81 has a simple pin which actuates the shift indicator.
