On the way home today I ran into a real dilema. I just had a new switch put in. My old switch you could pull the keys out while driving. My beer opener is on my key ring and I had a heck of a time trying to open my beer while driving home. How do it make it so my keys can come out with the ignition on?
It's a real safety issue! I'm sure that someone out there is like me and uses beer for medicinal uses. GANEY or anyone?
There has got to be some sort of pin in there or something. I pulled way to hard on the ign. key in my 94 GMC work truck once and it came right out. The key is pretty worn though, the truck has 250,000km on it. This tells me that something in there becomes weak and the worn key helped speed the situation.

Pass the empty to your girlfriend. This gets you one already opened. Worked for me.
By yourself, use the Vette opener, cleverly integrated into the door latch. Open door left hand, steer w/ knee, open w/ right while steering w/ left. If the bottle breaks ya need more practice, hand to 45ACP & open another.
