I'm putting the dash back in my 69. Unfortunately, since I took it out 12 years ago, I'm having a little trouble remembering what and where everything is. There's an electric/vaccuum switch mounted on the back of the tach. It has 2 electrical connections (I believe the wires are a double pair, 2 blue and 2 yellow) and 3 vaccuum ports. The problem is I can't find any vaccuum hoses for it. Anyone know what this switch is for?

I believe it is wired to the wiper switch. It opens the wiper door when you turn on the wipers. Not sure of the wiring to it.
My advice is to purchase the '69 assembly instruction manual (AIM). It should contain a drawing of the valve, the color codes on the vacuum hoses, correct routing, and the electrical connections.
Wiper door solenoid.
You should be able to find how it's hooked up on any vacuum hose diagram.
But if you dont see any hoses that went to it, it could be bad and was disconnected. And they're a very hard to find part.

Like I said, it's been 12 years since I drove the car. If I remember correctly, I think I had to open the wiper door with the overide switch.
