I have my Hooker super comps for over 13 years now..no coating and still hanging in there and fit is perfect. I will replace them soon and will stick with the Hookers, although I may get the jet coated...

I agree. I have the Hedman ceramic coated headers with the A.I.R. pipes built in. I love the headers. Coating has lasted well and the fit is excellent.

Now that I live in an area where I no longer need the A.I.R. system I may pull these out, sell them and get the elite version. Nothing wrong with these, but the A.I.R. pipes clutter up the engine compartment and make changing the plugs a bit of a chore.

So did I. An important part of my choice was that Dynomax do not interfere with the Steeroids, if you intend to or have fitted Steeroids then you should look carefully at this. Speed Direct have a web page that tells you which headers clear Steeroids and which need to be modified.

I am running Hooker Supercomps with a Jethot treatment on my Vette. They are about 10 years old with, incredibly, no rust anywhere.

I just bought a new pair of the Supercomps for my kids 78 TA with the Jethot Sterling finish. He's been running them about a month now. Very nice finish - so nice I am thinking about switching mine out to the same finish.
