the -6 means 6/16" or 3/8". That means -8 would be 8/16" or 1/2"

Find inner arear of the 6 an line and double that then find the radius and that should be how big you need it to be.

well, I have this obtuse 12mm x 1.25mm inlet into my dellorto carbs
So I can find these -6 adapters but I have 2 of those. A -8 an line comes out of the fuel pump.
So the varius fittings arent cheap. I fail to see why a 1" fiting costs 30 bucks, its robbery I tell you.

Yes, I have an Aeromtive 1000 and it calls for a return line from the Aeromotive regulator.

a -6 line has an equivalent ID as the ID of a 6/16 OD hard line!!. The measurement system comes from using a standardized size for flare nuts on hard lines w/ 37 degree sealing surfaces, the nut sizes are what determines the AN size. The hose adapters that you use are measured in that system. The ID of a -6 line is around 5/16th

if you see a -6 or -8 remember that it is the ID size of the hose in 16ths of an inch.
