Default Pedal conversion

After cutting down my brake pedal to size, for more footroom,I sent the requested drawings, measurements,& digital pics of the accelerator & brake pedals in to Ultimate Pedals ( www.ultimatepedals.com )Meanwhile,I used sandpaper, rust encapsulator,& then semi-gloss black paint on the metal surfaces of my pedals. After recieving my new aluminum pedals,I followed the procedures outlined by the manufacturer...I used an automatic center punch to mark the spot to drill, then I started with a 1/8" drill bit, then finished with a 9/32" bit to complete the mounting holes for the screws, washers, nuts and studs. After inventing a new yoga pose (I'm 6'3"),I managed to get all the nuts started in back of the brake pedal,to mount it.The gas pedal in my 79 is plastic, which required only the stainless screws for attachment

Maybe some new pedals are now on my Christmas list.
What did you use the 9/16" drill bit for?

#2 Philips screw driver
Open end-Box wrench 7/16"
Drill bits 1/8" and 9/32"
Electric drill
Automatic center punch
