TH 350 noise continued.

TH 350 noise continued.
Im still no joy on this prob. Background:
Remanned TH 350: Filled converter with oil. Placed it in tranny, ensured it was FULLY seated. Put tranny in car. Filled tranny with oil, let it idle, shifted thru gears, checked fluid until I was sure it was full
On idle, a slight knocking noise. Seems to diminish at highway speeds, but that could be due to wind noise. drove about 30 miles or so, no improvement
I then put the car on the lift, and while at idle, noise is def coming from either the converter or the tranny pump area that is right behind the converter.
Some folks said the converter to flywheel bolts may be mismatched, or bottomed out, or flywheel is bent or cracked. I tripled checked all. still no improvement
