Default Windshield wiper problems

Could anyone show me a wiring diagram of the wiper switch to the wiper motor. Is there a relay and where is it located?
Thanks

Depends on the year, but if you have intermittent wiper option there is a relay in the back under the passenger side storage compartment. You can try to find another one (But they are discontinued and there is not an after-market one yet) or just go to LectricLimited and get the jumper plug to bypass the relay. Everything works then except the delay mode. I think there is also a post in here somewhere, if you search, for a do-it-yourself bypass wiring diagram. Good Luck!

Remove the wires from the wiper motor and the motor may reset itself. Plug them back and see what happens. You may have a bad motor.
Later,
Sly

Sly, without a wiring diagram I'm not sure that this thing is wired correctly. The pump has been replaced. Someone has played with the pump wiring in the past.
Thanks

This guy's drawings seem to have a pretty good rep.

Yeah, I bought this same manual from the same guy about four years ago. it's just a photocopied stack of papers from some GM service manual that's out of print.

I have it at home, but i've drawn all over it because I was customizing the circuit to get rid of the washer portion.

Probably worth the $15 if you want to know everything there is to know about the wiper setup on your '69.

Or I could fax it to you if you ask me nicely.
