OK, my tail lights all work with the lights on. When I press the brakes the left side works, and the right doesnt, same way with the turn signal. The left turn is normal, but the right side light doesnt work and the blinker in the cab goes solid. I have checked all the bulbs and there is one ground in the back that I can find that is fine. As ideas on what to look for??
make sure the bulb is in all the way. Sometimes they hang up and you think they are twisted all the way, but they are only making contact with 1 of the socket contacts. It took me a while to figure that one out myself.
Are you saying the taillights do not work when you hit the brakes too?? Or, are you turning them off then checking the brakes? If so, sounds like you just need a new bulb.
Make sure you have power to the socket....ohm out the ground to make sure you have a good ground.....and here's a bubba deal....make sure you have the correct bulb in the socket, this came up a while ago and the guy had the wrong bulb in there...didn't work, correct bulb, worked fine...
All the bulbs are good. When I turn the lights on all lights work fine. When I turn the signal on with the lights on it stays solid. When I hit the brakes the light stays solid and doesnt get brighter like it should. So the bulb does have power. You might be right about it hitting both places in the socket. I am going to look into that.

A stop/tail light bulb has TWO filaments. ONE isn't working - it's either broken or the contact inside the base is bad. Pay $2 for a pair of the correct bulbs at AutoZone, replace the one that's acting up, and see if it works.
Remove the bulb and try lighting each filament (separately) with a 9v. battery. Put negative to the metal case on the bulb, then the hot side to each of the solder lugs at the base. Each filament should light when powered. Assuming the bulb is OK, check the contacts in the bulb socket. Sometimes those can be "bunged" up. If you don't see anything obvious, use a multimeter to check for voltage at each of the socket contacts (ground to bulb holder; "hot" to contacts). Put electrical tape on your testing probe except at the tip you are placing on the contacts. (Don't forget to put your turn signal ON!) If no voltage at the socket, keep chasing back until you find it. Problem could be in wiring. Good luck.
