Default Hooker side pipe headers

Some of the parts catalogs say that you need to use different frame engine mount towers (e.g. 69-72 Chevelle) when installing the BB Hooker side mount headers. Anyone have any experience with this? Where could I get these items.

I am putting a BB in my '75 and I want to use the side pipes. Who has the best prices on the Hooker parts?

frame monunt -
some chevelles = true
C3 vettes = false

if you need to shim, just add plate between mount and engine

Mine fit fine. Don't know if it makes a difference or not (shouldn't, but you never know.), but I used Energy poly engine mounts and a Prothane poly trans mount.

just make sure you get the wide engine mounts and not the tall/narrow.
Big Blocks use the wide. My hookers fit perfectly to my 454.
Price around and do a search on here.
Got mine from Jet Hot for $1200 shipped including headers, side tubes and ceramic coating on all. Plus you get their warrantee. Shop around.
