Default Schematic/Wiring Help.....

Hi Guys & Gals, and good Thursday evening to ya. Does anyone have a schematic for a '78 (perhaps other years are the same)? I'm looking for a diagram for the wiring on the drivers side power lock switch for my car. Three out of the five wires have come loose from the connector, and I'm not sure how to put them together again. The colors are different than what's on the passenger side, so mirroring it won't work. E-mail me off line if you wanna do that, or play here if otherwise.

HEEEEEEELP!

I don't have any pictures, but I got a poster size wiring diagram for the entire car from a company call Lectrics Limited at the last Bloomington Gold show. It has been extremely usefull. I finaly have all the bastardized wiring removed.

This is for an '80. When I found my pdl pigtails in the doors the wires fell off when I touched them. I bought replacements but the new ones had different wire colors. Between a couple photos of original pigtails and my wiring diagram I was able to decipher the wiring. That is why I have them marked as original and new pigtails. Hope this can help you.

Have you got any more info or a link to "Lectrics Limited"? Google didn't give me anything useful and I'm getting ready to start re-wiring next week. I would LOVE to get a copy for my 74 if they have one.
Any info would be a huge help.

Thanks

Pat

A good easy-to-read schematic can be had from a forum member, vetsvette2002, aka Don Olson. They only a few dollars. I have two, one for my 68 and one for my 70.

They are easy to read because they are large - somthing like 36 inches wide and perhaps 24 inches tall. Also the wires are shown in color. (It's so difficult to read the shop manual schematics since these schematics are black and white.) Also, the schematics are laminated in plastic. The plastic allows you to mark on them if you use dry erase markers.
