Default Technical Headlight Actuator Question

My headlights stopped going up on their own about a year ago, but they would always go down. I assumed that an actuator seal kit would fix the problem. But recently the headlights stopped going down on their own also, now they're stuck up. Would the actuator seal kit still fix this or is that another problem?

Is there some way to test the actuator to see if everything internally is functioning properly? With a vacuum pump or something?

Also, the lights stopped going down on their own when I put the Victor Jr on and tuned the Demon. Is this a coincidence or does a single plane manifold pull less vacuum than a dual plane?

This has a pretty good troubleshooting section that should help you with the actuator. You will need a mighty-vac or something similiar so you can apply vaccum to the actuator. Good luck with it and let us know what you find.
